Cook Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 flatbread or naan (store-bought or homemade)
- 4 oz Rock House Creamery Cranberry Zest Chevre
- 3-4 fresh figs, thinly sliced (or 2 tbsp fig preserves)
- 2 tbsp honey, plus more for drizzling
- 1/4 cup arugula or baby spinach
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional, for crunch)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp flaky sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the flatbread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Lightly brush the flatbread with olive oil. Crumble or spread the Cranberry Zest Chevre evenly over the surface.
- Arrange the sliced figs on top of the cheese. Drizzle 1-2 tbsp of honey across the flatbread.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the flatbread is warm and slightly crisp, and the chevre is soft and creamy.
- Once out of the oven, top the flatbread with arugula or baby spinach. If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts for added texture.
- Drizzle with additional honey and sprinkle with flaky sea salt for a sweet-savory finish. Slice and serve immediately.
