Cook Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 flatbread or naan (store-bought or homemade)
  • 4 oz Rock House Creamery Cranberry Zest Chevre
  • 3-4 fresh figs, thinly sliced (or 2 tbsp fig preserves)
  • 2 tbsp honey, plus more for drizzling
  • 1/4 cup arugula or baby spinach
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional, for crunch)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp flaky sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the flatbread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Lightly brush the flatbread with olive oil. Crumble or spread the Cranberry Zest Chevre evenly over the surface.
  3. Arrange the sliced figs on top of the cheese. Drizzle 1-2 tbsp of honey across the flatbread.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the flatbread is warm and slightly crisp, and the chevre is soft and creamy.
  5. Once out of the oven, top the flatbread with arugula or baby spinach. If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts for added texture.
  6. Drizzle with additional honey and sprinkle with flaky sea salt for a sweet-savory finish. Slice and serve immediately.
